There are 02 ways to get a Vietnam Visa in this country.
1. Apply online for a visa on arrival
Vietnam visa on arrival (VOA) is the best way for citizens who live far away from the Vietnam Embassy and DON’T want to waste time handling visa procedures at the Office. This is the shortest and fastest way to get a Vietnam Visa, especially for a tourist or business visa, with many advantages:
- Required Documents: No
- Processing time: just 1 to 2 working days for a tourist visa; 3 – 4 working days for a business visa.
- Expedited service is available for urgent or emergency cases on the weekend or public holidays.
How does it work?
To get a visa on arrival, applicants need to complete only 03 simple steps as below:
- Fill out the application form online and make a payment for the service fee.
- Get a visa approval letter after processing time.
- Print out this visa letter and submit it with your passport upon arrival airport to get a visa sticker into your passport.
2. Apply directly at Vietnam Embassy in the Philippines
There is currently 01 Vietnam Embassy office in the Philippines. That means your Vietnam visa application or consular legalization can be processed more quickly and conveniently than you are in a country without the Vietnam Embassy or Consulate. Below is the contact information for the office.

- Processing time: 3 – 5 working days. It should be noted that all of the Vietnam Embassies/Consulates are closed on the weekend and public holidays.

Also, the visa fees at the Embassy vary as it depends on the type of visa that you want to get. - Before applying for a Vietnam visa, make sure your passport has a minimum of 6 months validity and left pages.
