There are two ways to get a Vietnam business visa in Mexico
- Apply online and get a visa on arrival at the border checkpoint.
- Get a visa at the Vietnam embassy/consulate in Vietnam.

1. Get a visa on arrival from Mexico
Visa on arrival (VOA) is the best way for those who are living or traveling in Mexico. To get a Vietnam business visa upon arrival, it does not require applicants to travel to the embassy/consulate or submit any physical documents.
Either you are planning to get a multiple entry visa or a single entry visa, you have to complete the same steps below:
- Fill out the secured application form with the required information and double-check before paying the visa service fee.
- Receive the visa approval letter through email within 5 working days or 2 – 3 working days for an urgent case.
- Submit the business visa letter, your passport, and completed the Vietnamese visa application form, to Vietnam Immigration Officer, and pay for stamping fee to get a visa stamp at the Vietnam border checkpoint.
2. Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in Mexico
There is currently 01 Vietnam Embassy office in Mexico. That means your Vietnam visa application or consular legalization can be processed more quickly and conveniently than you are in a country without the Vietnam Embassy / Consulate. Below is the contact information for the office.

Working time: Monday – Friday: 9.00 am – 17.00 pm
The Embassy does not work on the weekend and public holiday of Vietnam. If a public holiday falls on a weekend, the nearest Monday and Tuesday is usually taken instead.
