How to get a Vietnam visa for Indonesian citizens?
There are 02 ways for Indonesian passport holders to apply for a Vietnam visa.
1. Get a visa at the local Vietnam Embassy
Contact the local Vietnam embassy/consulate in Indonesia (if you are residing in Indonesia), or in nearby countries (if you are not residing in Indonesia currently) to get a visa stamped on your passport before coming to Vietnam.
2. Get a Vietnam visa on arrival
The easiest way to get a Vietnam visa from Indonesia to apply for a visa on arrival (VOA).
With VOA, you apply online via vietnamvisaletter.vn by taking 3 simple steps as below:
- Fill out the secure online application form, and make payment of the service fee
- Receive the visa approval letter via email. Normally in 2 working days (for tourist visa) or 7 working days (for business visa), attached with the Vietnamese visa application form (also known as Entry and Exit Form).
- Submit the visa letter to get a visa sticker upon arrival at the Vietnam border checkpoint.
